Isaac Luria

Isaac Luria was a 16th-century Jewish mystic who revolutionized Kabbalah, the Jewish mystical tradition. He introduced ideas about how divine energy, or "light," creates and sustains the universe. Luria described a process where this divine light was intentionally broken into many parts, enabling human souls to repair these sparks through spiritual acts, a concept called "tikkun." His teachings emphasize that human actions can influence the cosmos's spiritual balance, making our moral choices vital for restoring harmony between the divine and the earthly. Luria's work deeply influenced Jewish spirituality, highlighting the interconnectedness of all existence.
