Irish Air Corps

The Irish Air Corps is Ireland’s air force, responsible for national defense, surveillance, search and rescue, and supporting civil authorities. It operates a variety of aircraft, including helicopters and fixed-wing planes, to conduct missions across the country and internationally. The corps also assists in emergency responses, such as medical evacuations and disaster relief, and provides training for military personnel. As a branch of the Defence Forces, it plays a key role in maintaining Ireland’s security and sovereignty while working alongside other military and civil agencies.
