IR imaging
Infrared (IR) imaging captures the heat emitted by objects, as all objects release some infrared radiation based on their temperature. An IR camera detects this radiation and converts it into a visual image, where warmer areas appear brighter and cooler areas darker. This technology is used in various fields like firefighting, building inspections, and medical diagnostics to identify heat patterns, observe in darkness, or detect temperature differences that aren't visible to the naked eye. IR imaging provides a non-contact, real-time way to assess temperature variations and hidden issues within structures or living beings.
