IPFS
IPFS, or the InterPlanetary File System, is a decentralized way to store and share files on the internet. Instead of relying on centralized servers, IPFS distributes data across many computers worldwide. When you upload a file, it gets broken into small pieces, encrypted, and stored across the network. To access a file, IPFS finds the unique code (hash) for it, retrieves the pieces from multiple sources, and reassembles it quickly and securely. This approach makes files more resilient, censorship-resistant, and often faster, promoting a more open and distributed internet.
