IP5
IP5 refers to a collaboration between five major intellectual property offices: the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the European Patent Office (EPO), the Japan Patent Office (JPO), the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), and the State Intellectual Property Office of China (SIPO). Established to enhance global patent systems, IP5 aims to streamline patent processes, improve quality, and share best practices. By working together, these offices address challenges such as patent backlogs and promote better understanding and protection of intellectual property rights across borders, benefiting inventors and businesses worldwide.
