invented the syringe

The syringe as we know it was developed over time through contributions from multiple inventors. Early versions date back to the 1st century, but the modern design was refined in the 19th century by Charles Gabriel Pravaz and Alexander W. Findlay. Pravaz created a metal syringe with a plunger in 1853, primarily for injecting and withdrawing fluids. Findlay, around the same time, developed a glass syringe for medical use. Their innovations laid the foundation for the precise, sterile, and easy-to-use syringes widely used today in healthcare for injections, fluid withdrawal, and other medical applications.
