Interrogation vs. Interview
An interview is a voluntary, conversational process where someone is asked questions, often to gather information, clarify details, or assess suitability, such as in job hiring or media settings. Interrogation, however, is more formal and can imply an authoritative approach, often used in law enforcement to obtain information or confessions related to a crime. While both involve questioning, an interview is generally cooperative and informational, whereas interrogation may involve pressure or strategy to elicit specific responses.
