International Time Zone
International Time Zones are regions on Earth, each with a standard time governed by their longitude, to coordinate daily activities. Since the Earth rotates, different areas experience daylight and night at different times. Time zones allow countries and cities to synchronize schedules, such as work hours and transportation, despite being geographically separated. The starting point is Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) in England, and other zones are defined as offsets from GMT or Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). This system helps maintain a consistent, organized way to account for time differences across the world.
