International Surfing Association

The International Surfing Association (ISA) is the global governing body for the sport of surfing. It sets rules, organizes international competitions, and promotes the development of surfing worldwide. The ISA works with national surf organizations to foster growth, ensure safety, and grow the sport at all levels, from amateur to professional. It also aims to include surfing in multi-sport events like the Olympics. Established in 1964, the ISA helps unify the surfing community and promotes environmental awareness of the oceans and beaches where the sport takes place.
