International NGO Coalition for the OP-ICESCR

The International NGO Coalition for the OP-ICESCR is a group of non-governmental organizations working together to promote and ensure governments honor the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (OP-ICESCR). This protocol allows individuals to directly bring complaints about violations of their economic, social, and cultural rights to an international committee. The coalition advocates for stronger protections, greater awareness, and better implementation of these rights globally, aiming to hold governments accountable and ensure everyone’s rights to work, education, health, and adequate living standards are respected and upheld.
