International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) is an organization established in 1998 that unites governments and experts worldwide to promote awareness, education, and remembrance of the Holocaust—the systematic genocide of six million Jews and millions of other victims during World War II. IHRA develops guidelines, resources, and strategies to combat antisemitism, hate, and denial, fostering a unified approach to preserving the memory of this atrocity and promoting human rights. Its work aims to ensure that the lessons of the Holocaust are understood globally to prevent such atrocities from happening again.
