International Council of Kinetography Laban

The International Council of Kinetography Laban (ICKL) is an organization dedicated to promoting and preserving Laban Movement Analysis (LMA), a systematic way to observe, describe, and document human movement. Founded in 1974, it brings together professionals worldwide—such as dancers, choreographers, educators, and therapists—who use LMA to improve movement understanding, teaching, and therapy.
