Interlibrary loans

Interlibrary loans (ILL) are a service that allows you to borrow books, articles, or other materials from libraries beyond your local one. When a library doesn’t have a specific item, they can request it from another library that does. This process extends access to a wider range of resources without needing to purchase everything yourself. Typically, you place a request through your library, which handles the borrowing and lending process. Interlibrary loans help researchers, students, and readers access materials they might not otherwise find locally, fostering a shared and cooperative approach to information access.
