Inter-subjectivity
Inter-subjectivity refers to the shared understanding and mutual agreement among individuals during communication and interaction. It is the process through which people connect by aligning their thoughts, feelings, and perceptions, allowing them to understand each other’s perspectives. This shared understanding forms the foundation for effective cooperation, empathy, and meaningful relationships. In essence, inter-subjectivity is what makes it possible for us to relate to others, collaborate, and create common meaning despite our individual differences.
