Intentional Interference

Intentional interference occurs when one person deliberately acts to disrupt or harm another person’s ability to use or enjoy a legal right or activity. For example, if someone intentionally encourages others to break a contract or damages a business’s reputation on purpose, they are engaging in intentional interference. This behavior is considered wrongful because it intentionally causes harm or disruption, and the affected person may have the right to seek legal remedy for the damages caused. Essentially, it involves purposeful actions aimed at undermining someone else’s lawful interests or relationships.
