Insulating glass units
Insulating glass units (IGUs) are double or triple-pane windows designed to improve energy efficiency. They consist of two or more glass panes separated by a sealed space, which may contain air or inert gases like argon. This space acts as an insulator, reducing heat transfer and helping keep indoor temperatures stable. IGUs also minimize noise from outside and reduce condensation on the glass. They are commonly used in residential and commercial buildings to enhance comfort, lower energy bills, and increase overall building performance. Properly designed and sealed, they provide durable, high-performance insulation for windows.
