Insulating glass

Insulating glass, also known as double or triple glazing, consists of two or more glass panes separated by a sealed space filled with air or inert gas. This construction enhances thermal performance by reducing heat transfer between the inside and outside of a building, helping to keep spaces warm in winter and cool in summer. Additionally, it improves sound insulation and reduces condensation on the interior surface. Insulating glass is commonly used in windows and doors to increase energy efficiency, comfort, and noise reduction in residential and commercial buildings.
