Instituto Terra

Instituto Terra is a non-profit environmental organization in Brazil dedicated to restoring and conserving native Atlantic Forest through reforestation, ecological research, and community engagement. Founded by photographer Sebastião Salgado and his wife Lélia Wanick Salgado, it focuses on transforming degraded landscapes into thriving ecosystems, supporting biodiversity, and promoting sustainable development. The institute also collaborates with local communities to build awareness about environmental preservation, aiming to create a healthier, more sustainable environment for future generations.
