Instituto Nacional de Cultura de Perú

The Instituto Nacional de Cultura (INC) of Peru was a government entity responsible for overseeing and promoting the country's cultural heritage, arts, and historical sites. It managed museums, archaeological sites, theaters, and cultural programs to preserve and enhance Peru's diverse cultural identity. In 2009, the INC was replaced by the Ministerio de Cultura, which took over its responsibilities to better coordinate cultural policies nationwide. The INC played a key role in safeguarding Peru’s archaeological treasures, supporting artistic expression, and fostering cultural awareness among Peruvians and visitors alike.
