Instituto Indigenista Interamericano
The Instituto Indigenista Interamericano was a regional organization established in the 1940s to promote the rights, development, and well-being of Indigenous peoples across Latin America. It aimed to improve social and economic conditions, preserve cultural identities, and support indigenous communities through research, advocacy, and policy initiatives. Although it is no longer active, it played a significant role in raising awareness and fostering collaboration among countries to address indigenous issues during its operational years.
