Institutions of France

France's institutions are the structures that organize its government and society. The main institutions include the Executive (President and Government), responsible for implementing laws; the Legislature (National Assembly and Senate), which makes laws; and the Judiciary (courts), ensuring laws are fair and upheld. The Parliament, comprising the National Assembly and Senate, debates and passes legislation. The President, elected by citizens, holds significant powers, including foreign policy and defense, while the Prime Minister manages domestic affairs. France also has local governments like regions and municipalities, which handle regional needs. These institutions work together to maintain democracy, law, and order.
