The Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also known as the Congregation of the Holy Violet and the Loreto sisters, is a religious community of women founded in 1609 by Saint Mary Ward. Members are committed to living out the teachings of Jesus through prayer, education, and service. They focus on providing education and care for children and young people, especially the marginalized, while fostering spiritual growth and social justice.
