Innocence Project Canada

Innocence Project Canada is a nonprofit organization dedicated to examining and challenging wrongful convictions in Canada. They review cases where individuals believe they have been unfairly or mistakenly convicted of crimes they didn’t commit, often because of new evidence or flaws in the original investigation. Their goal is to promote justice by ensuring that innocent people are not unfairly imprisoned and to improve the accuracy and fairness of the criminal justice system. Through research, legal advocacy, and collaboration with experts, they work to uncover and correct wrongful convictions and prevent future miscarriages of justice.
