Innatism
Innatism is the philosophical idea that certain knowledge or concepts are inherent in the human mind from birth, rather than acquired through experience or sensory observation. This view is often associated with Rationalism, which emphasizes reason as a source of knowledge. Innatists argue that some ideas, such as mathematics or ethical principles, are pre-existing and not learned through interaction with the world. Instead, they believe that our minds are equipped with built-in understanding that helps us grasp complex ideas without having to experience them first-hand.
