Inlay Techniques

Inlay techniques are dental procedures used to restore damaged or decayed teeth with custom-made fillings. An inlay is created from materials like porcelain, composite resin, or gold and fits precisely into the prepared cavity of a tooth, providing strength and a natural appearance. The process involves removing the decayed area, taking an impression of the tooth, and then crafting the inlay in a lab. Once ready, it’s bonded securely to the tooth. Inlays are durable and preferred for restoring larger areas of damage, offering a long-lasting, aesthetically pleasing solution that preserves as much of the natural tooth as possible.
