inert gas

Inert gases, also known as noble gases, are elements like helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, and radon. They have full outer electron shells, which make them very stable and unreactive under normal conditions. Because of this stability, inert gases don't easily form chemical compounds with other elements. They are often used in applications like lighting (neon lights), shielding gases in welding, and in medical equipment. Their non-reactive nature makes them safe and reliable for these purposes, and they play an important role in various scientific and industrial processes.
