Induction Problem
The Induction Problem concerns how we confidently infer general rules from specific examples. For instance, if you see only white swans, you might conclude all swans are white. But this could be wrong if a black swan exists elsewhere. The challenge is explaining how, based on limited observations, we justify believing these patterns hold universally. It's a philosophical question about the basis of knowledge and reasoning—how we move from what we observe to what we conclude about everything in a category.
