Indochine
Indochine historically refers to the region in Southeast Asia that includes Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, known together during the French colonial period as French Indochina. It was a French colonial territory from the late 19th century until the mid-20th century, characterized by a shared history of French influence, cultural exchange, and resistance to colonial rule. Today, the term also refers to a popular French rock band named Indochine, and more broadly, to the cultural and historical identity of these interconnected nations.
