Indo-European Languages
Indo-European languages are a large family of languages that share common ancestral roots, believed to have been spoken thousands of years ago in Eurasia. Today, they include many widely spoken languages like English, Spanish, Hindi, French, German, and Russian. These languages evolved over time from a common ancestor called Proto-Indo-European. They share similarities in vocabulary and grammar, which is why language learners sometimes find connections across different Indo-European languages. This language family is dominant in Europe, South Asia, and the Americas, shaping much of the world’s linguistic and cultural history.
