Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

An Individualized Education Program (IEP) is a customized plan created for students with disabilities to support their learning needs. It’s developed collaboratively by teachers, specialists, parents, and the student (when appropriate), outlining specific educational goals, accommodations, services, and support strategies. The IEP ensures that the student receives a tailored educational experience that promotes their academic progress and overall development. It is reviewed regularly and adjusted as needed, serving as a formal roadmap to help the student succeed in school while meeting legal requirements for special education services.
