Indium

Indium is a soft, silvery-gray metal with excellent ability to conduct electricity and heat. It is rare and often found in small amounts in zinc and tin ores. Indium is most commonly used in electronics, especially in making transparent, conductive coatings for touchscreens, LCD displays, and solar panels. Because of its flexibility and low melting point, it can be easily shaped, making it valuable in various high-tech applications. Despite its usefulness, indium is relatively uncommon, which can make it expensive and subject to market fluctuations.
