Indigo children
Indigo children refer to a cultural concept describing a group of children believed to possess special traits such as heightened intuition, creativity, empathy, and a sense of purpose. The term originated in the 1970s and 80s within certain spiritual and New Age communities, suggesting these children are here to bring positive change and challenge traditional authority structures. It is important to note that the concept is not scientifically supported and some view it as a way to explain exceptional behavior or personality differences. Nonetheless, many parents and educators see Indigo children as highly intelligent and motivated to make a difference.
