Indian People's Front
The Indian People's Front (IPF) was a political organization in India, active mainly in the early 1980s, that advocated for the rights of marginalized and rural communities. It aimed to challenge the dominance of mainstream parties by promoting socialist ideas and representing struggles against inequality and exploitation. The IPF sought to build a broad-based movement involving peasants, workers, and oppressed groups, often aligning with leftist ideologies. Although it was relatively short-lived and faced political suppression, the IPF played a role in highlighting issues of social justice and rural development within Indian politics.
