The Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) is a regional organization established in 1997 to promote stability, sustainable development, and economic growth among countries bordering the Indian Ocean. It facilitates cooperation in areas such as trade, maritime security, disaster management, and environmental sustainability. With member countries from Africa, Asia, and Oceania, IORA aims to enhance connectivity, share knowledge, and strengthen regional integration to support the prosperity of its member states and improve their collective resilience.
