Indian Number System

The Indian Number System is a way of grouping digits in large numbers, using commas differently from the Western system. Starting from the right, the first three digits form a group called "units," then subsequent groups are made of two digits each, representing thousands, lakhs (100,000), crores (10 million), and so on. For example, one lakh is written as 1,00,000, and ten crores as 1,00,00,00. This system helps to easily read and interpret large numbers common in commerce and daily life in India.
