Independent Commission for Timor-Leste

The Independent Commission for Timor-Leste was established to investigate and address human rights violations committed during Timor-Leste’s struggle for independence, particularly between 1974 and 1999. Its goal was to uncover the truth, provide justice and accountability for victims, and promote reconciliation.
