Independent Adjusters
Independent adjusters are licensed professionals who evaluate insurance claims on behalf of insurance companies. They investigate incidents, assess damages, and determine the amount the insurer should pay. Unlike staff adjusters who work directly for the insurer, independents work on a contract basis and may handle claims for multiple companies. They bring specialized expertise, often visiting the site of a claim, reviewing evidence, and compiling reports to help the insurer make informed payment decisions. Their independence allows their assessments to be more objective, ensuring claims are processed accurately and fairly.
