Independence Assumption

The independence assumption means that when analyzing or predicting something, we assume that certain events or variables do not influence each other. For example, if you're studying two different factors affecting health, assuming independence means believing that the effect of one factor doesn’t change based on the other. This simplifies the analysis because it allows us to treat each variable separately without considering complex interactions.
