In-service fleet

An in-service fleet refers to the collection of vehicles or equipment that are actively being used for their intended purposes, such as transportation, delivery, or operations. These assets are operational and available for daily use, as opposed to being in maintenance, storage, or decommissioned. Managing an in-service fleet involves overseeing their maintenance, performance, and efficiency to ensure they meet organizational needs, remain reliable, and comply with safety standards. Essentially, it’s the group of equipment that’s currently "on the road" or in active deployment for an organization.
