Impulse Reflectometry

Impulse reflectometry is a technique used to examine the internal structure of a material or system by sending a quick, high-energy pulse (impulse) into it. As the pulse travels, any changes or discontinuities—like defects, boundaries, or variations—cause part of the signal to reflect back.
