Impulse
Impulse is the product of an object's force and the time over which that force is applied. It measures how much a force applied over a period of time can change the object's momentum (its motion). In simple terms, if you push an object harder or for a longer time, you give it a bigger "push," resulting in a greater change in its speed or direction. Impulse is expressed in units like kilogram-meter per second (kg·m/s). It helps explain how forces affect moving objects, such as why a sudden hit causes a bigger change than a gentle push.
