Impossible Project
The Impossible Project was a company founded in 2008 to save and restart production of instant film and cameras, specifically traditional Polaroid-style imagery, which was no longer being made. As Polaroid ceased manufacturing in 2008, the company aimed to keep the nostalgic, analog instant photography alive by developing new film and cameras that used the same instant development process. In 2017, Impossible Project rebranded as Polaroid Originals, becoming part of the larger Polaroid brand, ensuring the continuation and innovation of instant photography for enthusiasts and artists alike.
