Implicit feedback
Implicit feedback refers to indirect indicators of a person's preferences or interests, such as viewing history, clicks, or purchase activity, rather than explicit ratings or reviews. For example, if you listen to many songs on a streaming service, the platform infers you like those genres even without you explicitly rating them. This type of feedback provides valuable insights for recommending content, as it reflects actual behavior over expressed opinions. However, it can be less precise than explicit feedback because it may not always fully capture true preferences.
