Immigrant investor program (EB-5)

The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program allows foreign investors to obtain U.S. permanent residency (a green card) by investing in a qualifying U.S. business. Typically, an investor must invest $1 million (or $500,000 in targeted employment areas) in a new commercial enterprise that creates at least 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers. In return, the investor and their immediate family can eventually apply for permanent residence. The program aims to attract foreign capital to support economic growth and job creation in the United States.
