Imaging Radar

Imaging radar is a technology that uses radio waves to create detailed pictures of objects and landscapes, similar to how a camera captures images. It sends out radio signals, which bounce off surfaces and return to the sensor. By analyzing these returning signals, imaging radar constructs a visual representation of the area, revealing features like terrain, buildings, or moving objects. This technology operates effectively in poor weather conditions and through obstacles like clouds or smoke, making it valuable for applications such as mapping, navigation, weather monitoring, and surveillance.
