Illusory Experience
Illusory experience refers to perceptions or sensations that seem real but are actually false or misleading. These illusions can occur naturally, like optical illusions that trick the eyes, or through mental processes, such as hallucinations or false memories. They arise when the brain interprets sensory information inaccurately or attempts to fill gaps in perception. While they can feel genuinely real, illusions reveal how our senses and brain work together to construct our experience of reality, sometimes leading us to see or feel things that aren't actually present or true.
