Ikaruga is a vertically scrolling shoot 'em up video game where players control a versatile spaceship capable of switching between two polarities: black and white. The game’s core mechanic requires strategic toggling between these colors to absorb bullets of the opposite polarity while avoiding or destroying enemies and obstacles. White ships are immune to white bullets but vulnerable to black bullets, and vice versa.
