Ijaw National Congress

The Ijaw National Congress (INC) is a socio-political organization representing the Ijaw people, one of Nigeria's ethnic groups predominantly residing in the Niger Delta region. Founded to promote the political, economic, cultural, and social interests of the Ijaw community, the INC advocates for development, resource control, and fair treatment within Nigeria. It serves as a platform for unity, cultural preservation, and dialogue with the government to address issues impacting the Ijaw people, including environmental concerns from oil exploration and calls for greater autonomy.
