IFS
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic approach that views the mind as composed of different parts or subpersonalities, each with its own perspectives and emotions. These parts develop over time to protect us from pain or distress. IFS aims to help individuals build awareness and harmony among these parts, fostering self-compassion and understanding. By doing so, people can resolve internal conflicts, heal emotional wounds, and access their core self—an inner state of calm and clarity—leading to greater emotional well-being and resilience.
