IFAW's Emergency Response Team

IFAW's Emergency Response Team is a dedicated group that quickly mobilizes to help animals in crisis situations, such as natural disasters, wildlife strandings, or illegal trafficking. They provide immediate rescue, care, and support to injured or vulnerable animals. The team works in collaboration with local agencies and experts to assess situations, deploy resources, and ensure animals receive humane and effective treatment. Their goal is to minimize suffering, prevent further harm, and rehabilitate animals so they can eventually be released back into their natural habitat or find safe, permanent homes.
